O’Neill and Associates Senior Vice President Peter Goelz wrote in a CNN op-ed that he believed the Dutch Transportation Safety Board should investigate the recent Malaysian MH 17 crash. Goelz credited the Dutch by saying they have technical skill and experience in the aviation investigation.
In a commentary in CNN, Jim Hall and Peter Goelz, former chairman and managing director of the US National Transportation Safety Board respectively, said that given the political tension between Ukraine and Russia and their blaming each other for the downing of the aircraft, the two countries should not be conducting the investigation.
