FAA Safety Regulation Shouldn’t Play Politics

In a detailed column , which appeared in USA Today, O’Neill and Associates Senior Vice President Peter Goelz said cargo pilot hours must be regulated to prevent pilots from getting fatigued and causing accidents. Goelz’s column comes days after the National Transportation Safety Board reported the findings of its investigation into the 2013 crash of a UPS cargo plane in Birmingham, Ala., which killed two crew members. The NTSB, in part, blamed pilot fatigue for the crash.
